The RADAR line of panels is made with a water-felted manufacturing process, which provides excellent sound attenuation (CAC) performance. The surface of the panel has perforations that also aid in sound absorption. Maintenance is simple because the surface cleans easily with a soft brush or vacuum.
High NRC and High CAC panel options provide design flexibility for areas that need extra sound control performance. Available FIRECODE formulation panels are designed for added fire protection, and available face score panels create the illusion of a smaller-scaled ceiling system without compromising accessibility.

The panels are manufactured with a cast process that enhances the surface appearance and provides excellent sound absorption and durability. FROST panels have nearly two times more impact resistance than typical fine textured ceiling panels as tested by ASTM C357-2" ball hardness test. The panels feature high noise reduction coefficients (NRC) and a backing that acts as a sound barrier and resists "breathing" (air passing through the surface), so the surface stays cleaner longer. With their exceptional CAC values, FROST panels also provide one of the best combinations of NRC and CAC values.
The cast process also integrates color all the way through the panel, which masks nicks and scratches. This long-lasting, abuse resistant surface resists scrapes and is easy to maintain because the surface cleans easily with a brush or vacuum.
